Joyce and David always knew they wanted their wedding to last longer than a single day, so when it came time to plan their celebration, they turned the event into an entire, fabulous experience on the Amalfi Coast for family and friends. SposiamoVi helped them design an unforgettable weekend at Villa San Giacomo, a luxurious venue perched on one of the highest points in Positano. They rented out the entire villa and the one next door, kicking off things off with a poolside welcome party overlooking the brilliantly blue Tyrrhenian Sea below.
The next morning, we wandered the winding streets of town before it got too crowded, stopping for gelato, cappuccinos, and a jaunt in a vintage convertible along the way. We then boarded a private yacht bound for Capri, guests enjoyed more drinks and dancing as we sailed along the Amalfi Coast. The final destination was a colorful cliffside restaurant called Il Riccio, where the guests enjoyed seafood and a Christian Dior pop-up shop.
The wedding day began by getting ready in his and her suites at the Villa. Joyce wore a sparkling gown by Berta and a blusher veil. Capturing Joyce walking down the aisle towards her family, groom, and bridal party with the hills of Positano in the background felt cinematic — and the whole weekend had led up to that moment. The band then led everyone straight into cocktail hour, with magical golden light peeking through the clouds and their stunning dinner decor set the scene for the rest of the festivities. The night ended exactly the way the weekend had started: with everyone taking a wild leap into the pool. It was an amazing conclusion to an already incredible weekend In Positano.
