There's a dreamer in all of us…even if it's just a sliver of light that shines through a thick exterior facade, we can all still dream. That is what I admire most about Christina; she's an unapologetic dreamer. She is unabashedly hopeful, optimistic and resilient. How does this translate from her artform to your wedding day, you may ask? It’s in the emotional comfort and confidence of the couple, to how she graciously interacts with your guests, and seamlessly collaborates and communicates with your wedding planner and the other vendors at your wedding. People ask me all the time for advice on weddings – this industry isn’t for the faint of heart, you need someone with horsepower drive, who loves what they do. That’s who Christina is and will always be, a dreamer.
JESSE TOMBS
Event Planner & Designer
Christina shot our engagement here in San Francisco and our wedding in Baja, Mexico. Her professionalism is beyond compare; she has tremendous experience that allows her to get the most out of her subjects. Her method highlights the essence of the event/session while capturing the most intimate moments in a spontaneous and relaxed style. I really appreciate that she uses real film-- you just cannot get the resulting soft hues of her photography in digital format. My wife and I are enamored with our photos, as are our families.

Not only are Christina’s photographs stunning, but I also couldn’t imagine a better photographer to be with on such an important day. I felt overwhelmed right before the ceremony. Christina recognized it and immediately decided to move us to a more private spot where I could just relax with a small group. She kept the mood light, making everything better. You want to be surrounded by people that make the event less stressful and can easily read what you need from them in the moment – that’s what she did for me. Christina is such a delightful human and she captured all of the special moments throughout the weekend. She has an incredible eye for how to capture your day and her style looks like a beautiful magazine spread, but with candid photos.

Christina’s work is romantic, intimate, and personal; she managed to capture the downright silliness and humor that defines much of our relationship.
Her choices of medium were especially important to us; much of the work was shot on film. Her use of film (and her multiple set-ups) managed to make our photos feel absolutely timeless. One would be hard-pressed to identify in which decade they were taken - which we adored. She moved seamlessly between formats, from film to digital and back again, at the drop of a hat. In the end, we received a beautiful box containing hundreds of archival quality prints and a customized drive – the box has a place of honor in our home.
In the weeks preceding the wedding, Christina tore her ACL; but, as with any true professional, the show must go on - and did it ever! Christina was simultaneously a ball of energy and hardly noticeable, somehow omnipresent yet unobtrusive. Her enthusiasm was infectious and her professionalism unrivaled.

Christina McNeill is the whole package, the real deal. We were especially drawn to the candid and timeless quality of her photography, her understanding and use of natural light, the fact that she uses both digital and film mediums, and the refined quality of the albums offered.
Christina was somehow punctual, organized, detail-oriented and thorough, but still incredibly creative, flexible and patient. She also has a comforting and calm presence that made all of us--family and friends alike--feel at ease. She was able to keep to the rather rigorous schedule without making anyone feel rushed, confident in helping move things along when necessary, injecting lighthearted comedy throughout. Christina meshed with our family and guests immediately, and she managed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Without drawing attention to themselves, she and her assistant captured all the big and small special moments throughout our entire two-day wedding event. Amazing!
It is remarkable that even after countless weddings and significant recognition within her profession, Christina was able to appreciate, respect and portray how unique and extraordinary our wedding was to us.

Christina is pure gold. She not only captured the entire day but helped us to be our natural selves. The quality of her work and the lengths she is willing to go to are unmatched. Walking into an overgrown forest in the rain? No problem! Scampering over slippery questionable foot bridges during our ceremony? She got it done. There are some series of photos I actually don’t know how she got.
My favorite parts of our photos: the warm quality film brings (which is so worth it), the editorial approach to capturing us in our element, the way she captured us at our most beautiful (there are photos we hope our future children will see and think “wow, that’s my mom!”), and how well they tell the full story of our love day.

I hate getting my picture taken, and the idea of posing for dozens of canned group shots made me want to die a little inside. What immediately drew me to Christina was her candid shots: they actually looked like people having fun at a wedding. Christina had her work cut out for her: my husband and I have a hard time taking things seriously and following directions; despite that, we ended up with amazing photographs, and had so much fun doing it. We are routinely complimented on how beautiful our wedding was, and that is entirely because of Christina's talent and artistry. I cannot recommend her enough!

For someone who isn't comfortable in front of the camera, she made me feel so at ease. She has an incredible eye for detail and light, and an amazing talent for capturing the most beautiful moments when you didn't even realize she was there. I'm guilty of never liking the way I look in photos, but months later I still look at our wedding pictures almost every day because I love them so much.
