As soon as you meet Chels and Tim, you are immediately swept up in the electricity of their connection and the depth of their adoration for one another. They’d only been dating for seven months, but they found a love that was truly one-of-a-kind. And with its San Francisco neighborhood-hopping, spontaneous energy, and damn good fashion, their wedding felt like something out of a movie, too. We started off at the Palace Hotel downtown, where Chels got ready in her mini dress from Odylyne the Ceremony and white Balenciaga heels. Amanda Vidmar Design created Chels’ Clematis-filled bouquet, the perfect accessory along with her black leather Balenciaga bag. We took a few photos in the hotel’s signature arched windows before grabbing a cab to their favorite local bar, Gino & Carlo’s. Chels and Tim are proud locker key holders and pool competitors at the bar, and it’s one of those magical spots where everyone feels at home. A few shots, some whiskey, and a round of pool later, we walked next door to Golden Boy pizza. Not only does Golden Boy serve the best slice in SF, but it’s also where Tim asked Chelsea to be his girlfriend. On a day when they committed to a lifetime together, it meant so much to visit the place where it all began.

After strolling along North Beach, we made our way to Moongate Lounge for a private, SURPRISE ceremony. Tim’s parents thought they were just showing up for dinner! Friends and family from near and far joined via Zoom to watch Chels and Tim exchange deeply personal vows. One of the most powerful lines from Tim: “I vow to protect our time with each other, hold your hand everywhere we go, and experience everything we love in life all over again with the safety of being by each other’s side.” The night ended with a family dinner and a toast at the adjacent restaurant Mister Jiu’s, a beautiful ending to a wedding day unlike any other.
